Fit Mums Lifestyle Series
Many lifestyle challenges come with motherhood, but that doesn't mean you have to forgo enjoying the benefits of following a healthy, balanced lifestyle. As a new mum, many women wish to reclaim their pre-pregnancy body all while trying to ensure their bub gets the best nutrition possible. While these two goals may seem at opposite ends of the scale, it is possible to do both - you just need the right tools and have realistic goals in mind. The Fit Mums Lifestyle Series will help you achieve just this.Fit Mums Lifestyle Series includes five lifestyle seminars that occur fortnightly over ten weeks and are held at Balmain Sports Physiotherapy (104-108 Victoria Rd Rozelle NSW 2039) and cover everything from healthy eating post-pregnancy and eating for weight loss, to introducing solids and regaining balance. The Fit Mum Lifestyle Series is the perfect complement to Fit Mums Exercise Sessions. The five sessions include:
| Week 1: Healthy Mums and Bubs: The 10 essential steps for health post-pregnancywill be revealed. From overall energy requirements and adequate portion sizes to essential post-pregnancy nutrients and foods to limit, there are plenty of tips for both breastfeeding and bottlefeeding mothers. Week 2: Regaining Balance: Sleepless nights, skipped lunches and a lack of time for exercise are just some of the obstacles new mums face. In this interactive seminar, you'll assess your current and ideal satisfaction levels in different areas of your life; assess your readiness to change; and set realistic and achievable goals towards reclaiming some balance in your life. Week 3: Introducing Solids: Starting solids is an exciting time for the family, but there is often many questions. Have your questions answers at this interactive seminar. Week 4: Getting Your Pre-pregnancy Body Back: It's what every new mum wants; to fit comfortably back into her pre-pregnancy clothes. Come and hear about practical and realistic strategies that will help you lose your baby weight the healthy way. Week 5: Environmental Influences Affecting Your Eating: If you're finding it difficult to lose those last few pregnancy kilos the this session is for you.
